Re: see that drill???
Wed, January 14, 2004 - 8:32 AMI would love to share my tools; however, I cannot find them at the moment. Must dig them out of my walk-in closet of death. Living in a very small place with limited room puts a damper on how many tools you can collect!

Re: see that drill???
Wed, January 14, 2004 - 12:44 PMWell yes, I see that drill! Names Summer...and I too love power tools...I unfortanetly dont have a pic of one though, but I have a funny story of when I could have really used one and I didn't have one on hand!
Like the time when I "accidentally" super-glued my eye shut...yes, you did read it right, I super-glued my eye shut...so a power tool would have come in handy for getting my eyelids to seperate, but in stead I had the paremedics take care of that...hey I figure why not make their job just a little more exciting, eh? -

Re: see that drill???
Thu, January 15, 2004 - 1:04 PMyou all know me. my favorite tool ever is the mikita angle grinder. it can do anything your other tools can't do. it cuts tile. it sharpens things. it grinds and it grinds _real_ good. note: do not attempt to use the angle grinder while hopped up theraflu and whiskey cocktails to buff off the wax you left on your car because you were sick and forgot your wax on wax off mantra. you know, that do not operate heavy machinery label on the good drugs actually has something to it. -

Re: see that drill???
Thu, January 15, 2004 - 10:58 PMHey Dana congrats on the new drill!
I just bang on the wall to find studs. Maybe not always that effective ??
I love the hardware store but I get so overwhelmed by all the stuf! I own a bunch of tools scattered all over the place, I just moved and started college again... it's still a mess.

did you all ever hear of angle grinder man?
Angelina...add this to your list of things that make this tool useful.
i gotta get one now.
i just got a stud finder, (i agree about NO good on the straight studs) but i just hung a mantle in my bedroom for the fountain and the buddha stuff i got. my bong etc.
i draped a pretty scarf across to enhance.
came out nice.

Re: see that drill???
Fri, January 16, 2004 - 3:27 PMHi, I'm Ellen and I ive in Flagstaff and make art tile.
See my drill? It's the little turquoise job on the floor underneath my favorite tool, the Peter Pugger. Yeah, that's really what it's called. I should pose straddling it. It mixes, de-airs and extrudes clay. Think of it as a jumbo playdoh fun factory.
