check the pawn shops in your area, a lot of tools get sold at pawn shops.

I'm sorry for your loss, I just had someone break into my car this morning. My alarm went off so I went out there, but they had already left.

I know how you feel . last week i had $3000.00 worth of tools stolen out of my shop.most of the tools were less than a year old and had no real sentimental value. but one item that was stolen that really hurts was a hand forged , leather wraped , trim hammer that an 'old timer' carpenter gave to me when i just started out in construction twenty years ago. i dont even mind that much about the other tools , but my hammer, like yours, had a special meaning to me. but i'm not letting this go that easy. iv'e got a 'dick' on the case and he said that because there were about 15 tools stolen and each one was marked with my company name on them that it is likely that one or two of them might show up somewhere. and when they do it wont be long before we catch the crooks that did this. than it's my lawyers turn to go to work on them and score one for us.
