+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-Soap-making
with Veronica.
Saturday February 7th, 2 pm. $20.00

Yes, this class is back by popular demand--just in time for the next
annoying gift-giving and relationship-ruining holiday.

Make soap for your sweetie. Or for your landlady. Or your smelly roommate.

You will learn to make soap and bath salt, and get a super cool arty
hand-made soap dish for your soap. (Made by a real local Gowanus Artiste)
Bring a jar for your bath salts. We have all kinds of scents, including
tobacco--which is more like your old Grandpaís cherry pipe tobacco scent
rather than ìNo, I wasn't smoking--what makes you say that?" scent.

Basic bench building with Mark.
Saturday February 7th, 4:30 pm $20.00

You too can pay to be our monkey!
Learn how to do basic building stuff: Use a drill, circular saw, measure
wood. This is a class for beginners. Mark will teach you how to make a very
basic table and bench out of plywood.

"How high is your basic chair? How do I measure with a T-square? How do I
keep from cutting my leg off with the circular saw?"

If you have asked yourself these questions time and time again, itís
probably time to take your pill and change the bandages on your stump.

But if youíd like to get a little practice in helping Mark build some
benches while learning about tools, wood and measuring this class is for
you! (You donít get to keep the benches you make today, but you can come
back and build them on your own another day--possibly a WARMER day--included
in the price of the class!)

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES

Intro MIG Welding with TBA

Intro to MIG welding with TBA
Saturday February 28th, 2 pm $20.00

This class is so awesome that thereís always a waiting list. In fact, both
classes are probably both half full already!
Impress your friends and neighbors with your cool new skills. This class
can be taught by any one of our excellent, capable, attractive teachers,
but this month it will be taught by whoever we can rope into it.

Learn the basics, including why you shouldnít stare directly into the arc,
whatís the difference between galvanized and non-galvanized steel and most
importantly, how to rock that leather welding apron like an ArtStar.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES
