      <description>If it's a Kenmore, it might be that the tube that goes down from the back corner of the freezer compartment is frozen up. That's what was wrong with mine when what you describe was happening. The Maytag guy told me that happens all the time with Kenmores. Solution was to defrost with the tube plug off, vacuum the coils underneath (or in the back) like crazy, and remove a wire that sticks down the tube. Has worked fine ever since.</description>

      <description>Maybe a silly question...is it frost free? have you defrosted lately? Vaccuum around the back and under, dusty coils can hurt performance.</description>
