My garden hose has a small hole. There's enough good hose to stretch around my garden, seems like a waste to throw away the whole thing. Is there a tool/fitting I can buy, and just cut the hose at the hole, and re-attach a sprayer fitting?
thanks!
thanks!

Re: garden hose
Fri, April 25, 2008 - 3:32 PMThere are hose repair kits that you can buy at just about any hardware store. It sounds like you would probably want to buy a "male" fitting so that you can screw the sprayer onto it.
They also make couplers that will allow you to cut out the bad piece and rejoin the ends to make a single (albeit 2" shorter) hose.
Finally, they make these things in cheap shitty plastic and durable brass. Guess which one I reccomend?? ;- ) -

Fri, April 25, 2008 - 4:08 PMI duct-taped the hose and found a few more holes in it. I may cave and buy a new one after all. But I will look for brass fittings.
Thanks. I hate going to the store not knowing what to ask for.
